Georgia Declares War On NCAA - Demands Football Playoff!!!

Hey, Vic, check it out, click on title. Georgia is on the warpath over BCS. The Dawgs are after the red jacket crowd!

Again, this is great, however, the ABC contract with the Pac-10 and the Rose Bowl (red-jacket-people) screws everything up.
Georgia is ticked-off not only by the BCS non-sense, they are ticked that LSU was able to pass them and vault from #7 to #2 and, thus, qualify for the championship game.
Hopefully, this project/cause gains momentum within the SEC and it can grow/spread like a virus across the Nation. We will see.

Well... If the groundswell continues,who knows what might happen. In the end failing to do something every other sport does has to catch up with you. Specially if having playoffs can be as financially rewarding as the the alternative. None of the arguments against playoffs really make any sense. I spent quite a bit of time with a lawyer who sits on the Orange Bowl Committee, in fact, I think he was the head of it this year and #1 he's for playoffs, #2 he couldn't articulate a cogent argument as to why the current system should continue other than inertia. Hope you all are doing well!
