Welcome Ted!

Just wanted to say that, yes, blame me for the invitation of a Big 10 fan. Actually, I used to be one when I was young and living in Michigan. Truth be told, I secretly sometimes root for Michigan when playing certain teams (that shall remain nameless) represented by this blog . Suffice it to say, Ted is a fine balance to the south-and-west-bottom-heaviness of the blog. This will be a fun season and I am looking forward to the beginning of college football. Great to have you, Ted, with us in this Band of College Football Brothers and Sisters.

Are you saying the folks from the south and west have bigger behinds?

Theodore,
Whether we were bottom heavy or top heavy, we are now heavier with you (go figure).
As for your beloved Hawkeyes, aren't they really the Pittsburgh Steelers playing on Saturdays as a tune-up for NFL games on Sunday? They look (black and gold) and play like them (three yards and a cloud of dust).
Unless you guys can muster a win over either the Buckeyes or the Wolverines, it will be another series of meaningless games played in the middle of the country over the next 3 months in order for OSU to get waxed in another BS (no typo here; the letter "C" omitted intentionally) Bowl Game.
Does Chuck Long still play there? Is Hayden Frye still coaching there? How about Bill Snyder, he of local Foothill High School fame; is he still there? Inquiring minds want to know.
Out.
