Joaq,
Many thought we could not cover last week's 42 point spread against Washington State, and we did...easily.
Now, it is U W (pronounced "you" "dub") at the Coliseum. Personally, I do not see them scoring a single point against us. We have 2 shutouts this season and we are gunning for a third. Heck, the Domers shut them out last week in Seattle and our defense is way better than the Irish. I think our defense is #1 in the Nation. So, to answer your question, I think we will cover; 50-something to zero.
How about you guys at the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party? Since it clearly is the World's Largest Outdoor party, does this mean that there is one that is larger "indoors"? If so, where is it that we may attend?
Stay strong. Can you guys beat the 'Dawgs?

Big week for UF! I will be in Orlando with blogmaster JOAQUIN to witness the sound and fury. Good luck to all.

Rob,
You guys are not heading to Jacksonville for the cocktail party? I think it is quite a drive up there, isn't it?
Anyways, enjoy the game. It should be a whale of a game.

Victor, Wish you all the best against "you dub"! Hope you beat them by 80 points. Urban Meyer has issued a gag order to all Gators with respect to the upcoming game against that team from a neighboring state north of us. Naturally, the Fraxedas family being "Gators to the Core" (As Meyer wrote on the football he dedicated to us), is in full compliance with his order. (Note the brief nature of Rob's comment above and his careful avoidance of even naming the opposing team). Prior to the game, all you will hear from the Gator Nation is... silence.

Joaq,
Just a quick post-script on our comments. I called the "you dub" game exactly, as they were unable to score. Also, we covered, as promised.
As for the Gators, they played the game of a lifetime against the 'Dawgs. To completely dismantle such a powerful team is a big rivalry game is staggering!!! Congratulations on all Gator Nation members. As I told you in our phone conversation, UF is playing so well in every aspect of the game that they have become feared by every other team. Nobody wants to play them now. They are firing on all cylinders. Awesome sight to see!!!!
Your path is clear: Win out your games, play undefeated Alabama in the SEC championship game, and hope you can leap-frog Penn State, assuming the Nittany Lions go undefeated (their only semi-tough game is against Michigan State...which is tougher than most people think). If that is the case, the scenario plays out that you would play Texas Tech, assuming the Red Raiders go undefeated...which is a super-tall order as their remaining games are against super-tough, highly ranked teams, including Oklahoma.
For us to make it, we need a semi-miracle, for all undefeated teams to lose at least once, and hope for a log-jam of once beaten teams. I am still holding my breath for a Gator-Trojan bowl game. Some scenarios point to this possibility. We will see.
Take care,
Victor
