Joaq,
My earlier comment was erased in cyber world. Here we go again:
Comments:
Gators vs. Vols
This appears tough, however, the Vols are extremely suspect since UCLA's stock has fallen faster than Wamu or AIG.
LSU vs. Auburn
The game of the week and the first of a plethora of showcase SEC games. Each of your teams has to survive the gauntlet of the most brutal conference in the country, bar none!
SC vs. OSU
Yes; we are playing a school that has the same initials as the school we just played. See if we can go 2-0 vs. teams called "OSU".
Since it is a Thursday night special, you will get a chance to see the Trojans for the 2nd week in a row on a nationally televised game. Keep pulling for the Men of Troy (USC; not Troy).
Speaking of Troy...Troy vs. OSU
I love the fact you picked Troy in this one. Classic!
Georgia vs. ASU
This was looking like the game of the week, however, ASU got upset last week. If they get ticked off, this could be an ambush in the desert for the 'Dawgs. Also, this is the Pac-10 vs. the SEC. We will see who has the early edge. Georgia begins their season in earnest...no more easy games for them. Absolutely brutal schedule.
got to run.
Take care.

Great take, Victor. It should be a good week of football. As usual, I'm not taking anything for granted. Last year we slaughtered Tennessee then Tennessee killed Georgia then Georgia did us in. The SEC is crazy and I'm not in the least bit smug. Good news is that we are healthy. Harvin is 100% and more important, the leader of our O-Line, OG Jim Tartt will be back after missing the first two games because of shoulder surgery. We sure have missed him. Also maybe Tennessee will be the breakout game for Moody. I sure hope so. Tennessee is a very physical team. Their problem is that the coaches, specially Fulmer, tend to choke on the big games and play too tight early on. It's almost like they play better after they've been beat a couple of times and they feel there's not much to lose. Anyway we'll see. I sure will be cheering for USC on Thurs against OSU. Funny, you are playing two teams with initials OSU in two consecutive wins and The Buckeyes will be playing Trojans on two consecutive weeks. Incidentally, the Troy Trojans are a pretty good team and I think OSU will have a hard time covering the spread. That's why I picked Troy. Anyway, we've played them in the past and they are a spunky little team. Catch you later!
